Cocoa Paste (Liquor)

Our cocoa paste is also called “cocoa liquor”, “unsweetened baking chocolate” and “bitter chocolate”. It’s produced from beans that have been fermented, dried, roasted and separated from their skins. These beans are ground into a paste and melted to become the “liquor”, which is then cooled and melded into blocks. Essentially, cocoa paste is a very handy sweet food ingredient. Use our natural and organic paste to make mouth-watering homemade chocolate, rich spreads and all manner of magical cocoa recipes.
